The vitreoretinal department Deals with diseases of the posterior segment of the eye. The department is well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment like 3D ultrasonography, Carl Zeiss visupac 450 digitized angiography system, Iridex green & diode lasers with slit lamp adaptor for trans pupillary thermotherapy, Accurus vitrectomy system & Zeiss operating microscopes with X-Y zoom. Diseases like diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, age-related macular degenerations & intraocular tumors can be treated here. All simple & complicated retinal surgeries can be done here.
