Oculoplasty is a sub speciality in ophthalmology that deals with eyelids, orbit (bony socket), tear ducts (lacrimal system) and structures surrounding the eyes (ocular adnexa). Oculoplasty surgeons are eye surgeons who get additional training in ophthalmic plastic surgery after finishing their residency and are specialized in periocular plastic and reconstructive surgeries. They are a vital link between eye surgery and facial plastic surgery. We have our fellowship trained Orbit and Oculoplasty Surgeon who is well verse with latest oculoplasty management procedures & protocols. Department of Orbit & Oculoplasty at AFEH is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, modular operation theatre exclusively dedicated for oculoplasty procedures with operating microscope, surgical lights, surgical binocular loupe with head light, radiofrequency cut coagulation system with unipolar and bipolar cautery & endonasal endoscope. Our hospital have services for radiology (CT scan/X ray/DCG), microbiology and histopathology.
